ZMK firmware solves the two biggest complaints about the Q1 Pro in one stroke: the wireless polling rate jumps from a sluggish 90Hz to a competitive 8,000Hz, and battery life goes from 100 hours to an absurd 660 hours. At $230, it's only $30 more than the Pro it replaces — and that $30 buys you a fundamentally different wireless experience. The Silk POM switches are smooth enough out of the box that most users won't feel the need to mod. Not quite Keycult territory, but now it's knocking on the door.”
