The Verdict.

9.1/ 10

Gavler Meta-Score

The Ripmo V3 is the bike for riders who want to ride aggressively without owning a dedicated enduro rig. DW-Link suspension provides a unique feel that rewards hard riding — the harder you push, the better it performs. The mullet wheel setup isn't for everyone, but for the aggressive trail rider, it's a revelation.

Global Critique

The Ripmo V3 is still at the top of the category. We are hard-pressed to think of a better climbing 150mm-travel bike — this iteration adds a bit more traction in the initial stroke that was very welcomed on techy climbs.

Mountain Bike Action (Ibis Ripmo V3 Long Term Review)

Descending is equally impressive — it carves corners like a freight train, dances through rock gardens and takes awkward hucks to flat like a champ.

Mountain Bike Action

Ibis has given the Ripmo a refresh with a long list of updates — in-frame storage, mixed-wheel compatibility, more travel, new geometry, and a more focused positioning between the HD6 and the updated Ripley.
