Why Dawn wins this category
Dawn Platinum Powerwash is a spray-on dish soap that eliminated the concept of soaking. You spray it directly on a greasy pan, wait thirty seconds, and wipe. The grease lifts off without scrubbing, without filling the sink, and without the existential dread of confronting last night's lasagna dish at 7 AM.
The chemistry is Dawn's commercial-grade degreasing formula (the same one they use to clean oil off wildlife after spills) delivered through a foam spray nozzle that clings to vertical surfaces. It works on baked-on cheese, dried egg, and the carbonized ring inside a stainless-steel pot that you were about to throw away.
Regular Dawn in a bottle is also excellent. The Powerwash spray is regular Dawn that removed every excuse you had for leaving dishes in the sink.
